Car Rush High Scores: How the Speed Ramps and Where Runs Actually End

Published · 1 min read

The first thousand metres are free

Car Rush starts slow enough that you can react to every car. Use that stretch to settle into the middle lane and collect whatever coins are safe. Nothing you do here changes the score much; what matters is arriving at the fast section calm and in a lane with options.

The speed curve

Acceleration is gentle until roughly the second minute, then it steepens. Most runs end within thirty seconds of that change because the player keeps reacting at the distance that worked before. Start looking further up the road as soon as the skyline begins to blur.

Coin rows are lane hints

The game lays coins in a lane it knows will be clear for a moment. A row of coins is a safe path — until it ends. The mistake is following the coins into a lane and staying there after they stop; that lane is about to have a lorry in it.

Middle lane, always

From the middle you can go left or right. From the outside lane you can only go one way, and at high speed a single blocked option is a crash. Return to the middle after every dodge, even if it costs a coin.

Restart fast

The restart is one key. A run that has gone wrong early is not worth nursing; reset, get back to the fast section and try again with the lane habit intact.
